H. Dean Bradley, 89, of Antioch, died March 28 at Victory Lakes Continuing Care Center, Lindenhurst.

He was born July 18, 1916 in Marshall, the son of William Albert and Josie Ollie (Bennet) Bradley, moving to Antioch in 1968. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Antioch and a former member of the Bethel Methodist Church in Chicago. Mr. Bradley graduated from the Hines Pharmacy College in Chicago and was a pharmacist for Walgreens Drug Stores for 45 years. He served as a superintendent for Sunday School and was a Boy Scout leader.

On Sept. 10, 1938 he married Reba Claypool in Chicago and she preceded him in death on Oct. 19, 1999.

Survivors include his daughter, Shelby (the late James) Wais and a son Byron (Rhonda) Bradley both of Antioch, two brothers, Omer Bradley of Indianapolis, Ind., and Herbert Bradley of Skokie; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jennifer Wais; a brother, Clyde Bradley; and a sister, Grace Humes.

Funeral services were held April 1 at the Strang Funeral Home of Antioch. Interment was held in Hillside Cemetery, Antioch
