Edward L. Applegate, Jr., 57, of North Brunswick, NJ passed away on Friday, June 18, 2010. Born in North Brunswick, he has been a lifelong area resident. Edward was a veteran of the US Army. He was an owner operator truck driver for the last 16 years. He was a member of Our Lady of Peace RC Church in North Brunswick. Edward was an animal lover and enjoyed boating, camping and gardening.
Predeceased by his father, Edward, Sr.; a sister, Linda Ann Applegate and a brother, Richard Applegate, he is survived by his wife, Jeanette (Mazzeo) Applegate; his mother, Wilma Applegate of North Brunswick, NJ; three daughters, Danielle Vitale of North Brunswick, NJ, Nicole Valdata of East Brunswick, NJ, Jacquelyn Vitale of North Brunswick, NJ and two sons, Corey Applegate of West Virginia and Richard B. Applegate of North Brunswick, NJ. Also survived by a niece, Amanda Applegate and a nephew, Richard Applegate; eight grandchildren and his dog and best friend, Chula.
The family will receive friends at the Bronson & Guthlein Funeral Home of Milltown, Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9pm. A Funeral Mass will be offered in Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, North Brunswick, Wednesday 10am. Interment, Van Liew Cemetery, North Brunswick, NJ
