Mrs. Clara Ridley, widow of C. D. Ridley, died last Saturday morning in New Albany. Mrs. Ridley was fifty-four years of age and was a daughter of the late Rev. T. G. Beharrell, who was at one time pastor of the Methodist Church at Corydon. Mr. and Mrs. Ridley were married in Corydon and lived here a number of years before removing to New Albany, where Mr. Ridley died a few years ago. He was a brother of Judge William Ridley. Their surviving children are Lieutenant Robert B. Ridley, stationed at Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia; James T. Ridley, of New Albany, and a daughter, Miss Clara Ridley, of New Albany. Burial was at New Albany Monday afternoon. - Corydon Republican 12 Dec 1918
