Lawrence Joseph McCracken, 86, of Butler, Pennsylvania passed away on December 24, 2011 at the Butler Memorial Hospital. He was the son of the late Clyde McCracken and Hazel Knapp McCracken.

Mr. McCracken was a member of the Masonic Lodge #694 and the Syrian Shrine. He was also a member of North Street Christian Church. Mr. McCracken was a lifetime member of the VFW Post #249 and the America Legion Post #117.

Mr. McCracken is survived by his third spouse Virginia who he married on September 12, 1986.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Leila Jane Winters McCracken and his second wife, Maxine Rockenstein McCracken.

Mr McCracken had three sons, Charles L. McCracken, Robert L. McCracken and Timothy J. McCracken; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

His death was also preceded by two brothers, Richard McCracken and Russell McCracken, and one sister, Margaret McCracken (Beck).
He was the last member of his immediate family.
