Ralph married at least three times. His first wife was Elizabeth ("Bessie") DeFrance Jackson and possibly the mother of his son, Charles R. Clark, and his second marriage to Natalie Olson on Oct. 19, 1920 in Dayton, Washington listed his previous marital status as "widowed," (but Elizabeth was not deceased), as did his subsequent marriage to Myrtle Frances Budden, in Bellingham, Wash. on July 25, 1923 (his previous wife, Natalie Olson, died on January 29, 1923).
In his WWI Draft Registration Card, Ralph was listed as living in Seattle, along with a wife and child. At that time, he worked as a salesman for the Pacific Coast Biscuit Co. of Seattle. The card was dated 6/5/17. In later years he held other sales positions in the dairy industry, travelling throughout the state of Washington.
