Richard E. Avera, 90, of 1512 NE 31, Midwest City, died Saturday in Midwest City Memoial Hospital. He was a retired watchmaker. He was born in Franklin, TX, and moved to Midwest City in 1948. He was a member of Wickline Memorial Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs Dan H. Griffin; a brother, John, Hereford, TX; and three sisters, Mrs A. R. Hicks, and Lois Avers, both of Lubbock, TX; and Mrs L. M. Laird, Lorenzo, TX. Services ill be at 3 pm Monday in Paylor's Funeral Home with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
