Thomas Dale Bartholomew, 68, of 5584 Livingston Hwy., Celina, Tenn., died Aug. 3, 2003, at the Livingston (Tenn.) Regional Hospital. He was an auto and marine mechanic. Born in Robinson, Ill. on Sept. 13, 1934, he was a son of the late Thomas Harold and Alene (O'Hara) Bartholomew and the husband of Alice Kay (Bain) Bartholomew, who survives.

Other than his wife, survivors include five sons — Rodney Bartholomew, Hermitage, Tenn.; Tommy Bartholonew, of Mississippi; and Dwight, Donnie and Mike Bartholomew, all of Celina, Tenn.; three daughters, Cindy Neff and Misty Clayburn, both of Celina, and Ruth Ann Grissom, Birmingham, Ala.

A sister, Ruth Ann Kepler, Indianapolis, Ind.; 20 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Aug. 6, at the Upton Funeral Home in Celina, with Rick Frazier officiating. Burial was at the Bartholomew Family Cemetery.
