Born June 4, 1925, died December 8, 1988 in Saudi Arabia. He was a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University, and Navy veteran of WWII and Korean Conflict. Born and raised in Tacoma, he lived the last 23 years in Saudi Arabia.
Survived by son, Steve Bowman, Dubai, U.A.E.; daughters, Arta Bergstrom, Karla Babb, Tacoma; grandsons, Steve Sloboda, Mason Bowman; sisters, Mary Gordon, Ida Wakefield; brother, Ray Bowman; many nieces and nephews.
There will be a memorial service 3 p.m., December 14 at Mason United Methodist Church, 2710 North Madison. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Boys Club of America would be appreciated. A loving father, brother and friend.
