Born in Tacoma, WA on September 29, 1921 to Athelstein and Hattie Bowman, passed on to eternal rest on July 5, 2002.

Ida is survived by husband Richard, sons George (Juanita) Hofmeister and Michael (Barbara) Wakefield, plus grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express gratitude for the loving care given by the staffs of the Tacoma Lutheran Home and Franciscan Hospice.

Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m., Thursday July 11, 2002 in Mt. View Memorial Park. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home, 584-0252.
