Born in Denmark as Janus Andreas Dam. As the oldest brother would inherit the land, Janus left to make a living in the USA. A kind-hearted man loved by people and animals. My dad said he was just visiting from out of state and had the local tree squirrel eating out of his hand in 1 day.
