Helen was the only daughter of the four children born to Annie and Curtis Logan. Two of her brothers survive her - Floyd Herman and Jack.

Helen was always academically gifted. She was a National Merit Scholar with a full scholarship to Baylor University.

Helen married William Howard Bolton II in 1971 in Dallas, Texas. She and Bill were the extremely proud parents of two very special children: Serena and Stuart Logan Bolton.

Helen loved travel, the beauty of her natural surroundings, and was a tireless reader. You rarely saw her without a book in her hands. Always the traveler, Helen was able to accomplish her longtime goal of moving to Spain for an indefinite length of time in May of 2012.

Losing Stuart, in 1998, to asthma was the tragedy of her life.

Helen fought illness for more than 10 years before her death. She leaves behind the light of her life, granddaughter, Alia, along with a large extended family and many friends.
