Rosetta married Andrew P. Belcher March 17, 1839 in Pillars Point, Jefferson Co., New York. She was the mother of eleven children. She was widowed in the Civil War at age 43 with five children under sixteen to care for. Her daughter Melissa's husband died from failing health after the war and Melissa also died three years later. Rosetta became the guardian of those children also. She married Charles Wallace on December 4, 1884.
