Born Dec. 11, 1922, in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Peter Frank and Josephine Conchetta Caruso Rogers.
He was employed by the U.S. government with the Department of Defense at Fort Ritchie.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was a member of First Christian Church.
He was a member of Morris Frock American Legion Post 42, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 694, Eagles Inc. of Waynesboro, Pa., the National Rifle Association and AARP.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jane D. Rogers; and one son, Gary L. Rogers of Hagers-town.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Cindy J. Rogers Shockley.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, Hagerstown. The Rev. Richard G. Hembrock will officiate. Entombment will be in the mausoleum at Rest Haven Cemetery, with military honors by Morris Frock American Legion Post 42.
The family will receive friends Thursday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Washington County, 101 E. Baltimore St., Hagerstown, MD 21740.
