Born in Bieganowo, Brodowo Poland (Poznan province). Baptized in the RC Church in Kwerowo, Deanery of Sroda. Married Elzbieta in 1873. He immigrated by himself in 1882 to Buffalo, NY from Poland. His wife & children immigrated the following year.
Jan is my maternal great grandfather. He fathered 12 children total, but only 6 survived to adulthood. Refer to wife Elzbieta for additional genealogy information.
