John Kraus, 73, of the Town of Rockland, died Wednesday evening at the farm homestead where he had lived all of his life. Death followed a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Evangelical United Brethren Church, Reedsville. The Rev. Roy H. Headly will officiate and burial will be in Rockland Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife: son, Elmer on the home farm; brother, Emil of Manitowoc; and two sisters, Miss Ella Kraus of Manitowoc and Mrs. Herman Ebert of Reedsville.
Friends may call at Reedsville Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Friday until 10:30 a.m. Saturday when the body will be moved to the church to lie in state until the hour of service.
