Nov 11, 1957 - Carroll Daily Times - Mrs. Emma L.M. Wenck, 66, widow of Frank D. Wenck, succumbed to cancer Sunday morning after a long illness. Funeral services will held at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday at the Huffman Funeral Home here and 2 o'clock at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Harold Kieck officiating. Burial will be in the family lot in the Carroll Cemetery.
Mrs. Wenck was born Emma Grote Sept. 27, 1891, at Paton, Greene County, Iowa. She married Mr. Wenck at Carroll Feb. 14, 1915. They established their home here in the same year.
Mrs. Wenck's surviving children are: Paul, Cherokee; Marie, Washington, D.C.; and Franklin, Lake City. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
