Arthur J. Miller, 86, died Thursday at his home in Olean. He had been in failing health for two years.
Born Feb. 20, 1872, he was married Dec. 24, 1892 to the former Miss Effie Berry, who died March 19, 1937.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. S.E. Gunn, Eldon and Mrs. Paul Thomas, Olean; two sisters, Mrs. Ella Amos, Chillicothe and Mrs. Lucy Bass, Wichita, Kan.; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at an Eldon funeral home with the Rev. Charles Cox officiating. Burial will be in the Eldon Cemetery.
