Elizabeth Willey Callon passed away Sept. 16, 2004, at her home in Oakland, California. She was born Dec. 26,1941, in Salt Lake City, to Blanche Scowcroft and Emerson Cannon Willey. She married James Callon and was later divorced. Graduated from East High School in Salt lake City, Mills College in Oakland, CA, and received a Master's Degree from the University of Utah Geography Dept. in 1969. Relocated to the Bay Area in the late 1960's. Beth traveled extensively throughout the world working on environmental projects and was an educator in the fields of geography and other physical sciences in the Bay area. She is survived by her son, John Callon, Sacramento, Calif; her sister, Adrienne Willey Larson, Sandy, Utah; her niece and nephews, Katherine, Mark, and Scott Larson, and her dear friend, Joyce Pierce. Special thanks to Elizabeth Callaway. Cremation was under the direction of the Neptune Society. A memorial held Sunday, Oct. 3, 2004 at 14270 Skyline Blvd., Oakland, California.
