Joseph Aloysius Forcier was born on January 14, 1876, in Stewart, Minnesota to Frederick Thomas Forcier and his mother, Callista, was 33.

He married Wilhelmina J "Minnie" Reimer [on May 28, 1908, at Stewart, McLeod County, Minnesota, per user Douglas Kalahar] and they had 11 children together.

He then had five sons and four daughters with Anna Angeline Jensen.

He died on September 13, 1953, in Portland, Oregon, at the age of 77, and was buried there.
