WELL KNOWN CITIZEN DIES
John Oliver Armstrong, aged 89 years, 14 days, passed away at the home of his brother, J.H. Armstrong at Doe Hill, September 25, 1937, after an illness of three and a half months. Mr. Armstrong was well known throughout the county and will be missed by his many friends and acquaintances. He is survived by three brothers, J.H. Armstrong and H.W. Armstrong both of Doe Hill and E.W. of Verona and one grandson, Donald O. Armstrong, of Damascus, Va. Interment was at the Doe Hill Cemetery.
