            DeHart Funeral Set Wednesday

Funeral services for Buster Alphonso "Buck" DeHart, 41, Crab Orchard, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Crab Orchard Baptist Church.

The Rev. C. Shirley Donnelly and the Rev. Mark Wolfe will officiate. Burial will be made at the Calfee Cemetery at Mount Tabor.

DeHart died at 9 a.m. Monday in a local hospital after an extended illness.

He was born at Fitzpatrick, May 15, 1914, the son of E. B. DeHart and the late Roxie Christian DeHart. He was a miner having been employed by the Gulf Mining Co. at Crab Orchard.

DeHart was a lifelong resident of Raleigh County and a member of the Unifed Mine Workers of America Local at Crab Orchard.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Doris Stump DeHart; five daughters, Mrs. John McNeal, Montgomery, Ala., Palsy Elaine, Pamela and Renee all at home; one son, Dickie DeHart, Glen Morgan; two brothers, Clyde of Crab Orchard and Hershel of Aiken, S.C.; three sisters, Mrs. L. M. Abram of Bradley, Mrs. A. Y. LeBleu of Saint Albans, and Mrs L. P. Hodge of Mabscott; one half-brother, Clarence DeHart of Richmond, Va.; three half-sisters, Mrs. Wirtie Hall, Christiansburg, Va., Mrs. Mamie Brammer of Buchannon; Va., and Mrs. Pearl Mangrum of Buffalo, Va.

The body will remain at the Calfee Funeral Home until 4 p.m. today when it will be removed to the residence.

It will be taken to the church one hour prior to services.

Pallbearers include Lowell Canady, Russell Boggs, Bob Richmond, Woodrow Scarbrough, Harry Hedley, Ernest Lilly, Virgil Horton and Ed Lilly.
