She was the daughter of the late Charles and Gertrude Skipper and was preceded in death by her husbands, J.D. Amos and Jack T. Whitlock; brothers, Charles Skipper, Price Skipper and Kenneth Skipper; great-grandchild, Sam Sucher.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Gregg and Judy Amos, Mike and Janey Amos and Phil and Cathy Amos all of Dalton; daughter, Debbie Amos of Fayetteville; sisters, Martha Monteith and Mary Rogers both of Dalton; grandchildren, Josh and (Tiffany) Amos of Acworth, Tanja and (John) Sucher of Cohutta and Zack and Christina Amos of Dalton.
Many nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today from the Dalton First Baptist Church with the Rev. Phillip Cannon and the Rev. Larry Flanagan officiating.
The family will receive friends in the Atrium of the church today from noon till 2 p.m.
Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
