Albert Winter Dies in Portland
Albert Winter, 77, an Astoria Resident for the past 30 years, died Sunday in a Portland hospital.
Born in Eugene, August 19, 1892, he worked as a carpenter and pile driver, and was a member of that union local 241.
He is survived by his wife Iva, Astoria; a daughter Leola Lee, Portland; a stepson Royal Kurle, Astoria; one brother, five sisters and four grandchildren.
He was buried at Portland Memorial Indoor Cemetery* Tuesday, under auspices of Helman and Sons Morticians.
