Mr. Eliason was retired from the Logan City Fire Department and Cook Transportation Company. An active member of the LDS Church, he had served in various positions in the church auxiliaries. He was a home teacher, and active in the Boy Scout movement.
Surviving are two sons and three daughters: Mrs. Eldon W. (Erma Faye) Stoddard, Layton; Mrs. Robert (Alice Jean) Hubenthal, Rochester, Pa.; Mrs. Thomas (Myrna) Tudor, Layton; Roy Val Eliason, Logan and Ivan Eliason, Heyburn, Idaho.
Also surviving are 16 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother Richard Eliason, Salt Lake City, and a sister Mrs. Vivian Green, Logan.
Burial is in the Logan City Cemetery.
