Barfield, Sr., Lee Edward Age 38, a lifelong resident of Joliet, IL passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet, IL. Lee was born November 8, 1973 in Joliet, IL. He is survived by two sons, Lee L. Barfield of Joliet, IL and Jaden L. Barfield of Bolingbrook, IL; mother, Annette Mathis; father, Lee E. Carver (Helena) of Joliet, IL; sisters Jaclyn Fox and Maria Carver of Joliet, IL; uncles, Elijah (Thelma) Barfield of West Haven, Connecticut, Willie Campbell of Birmingham, Alabama, Sam Carver, and Ernest (Laura) Walker of Milwaukee, WI; aunts, Juanita Campbell of Joliet IL, Pearlie and Margie Campbell, Ernestine Williams of Laurel, Mississippi, Eva Carver, Dede (Richard) Moffett and Mae H. Lewis of Milwaukee, WI; a very special cousin, Levelle Barfield, who was like a brother; and a host of cousins and friends. Visitation will be Monday, May 14, 2012 from 5-7 pm at Minor-Morris Funeral Home, 112 Richards Street Joliet, IL 60433 815-723-1283. Wake will be Tuesday, May 15, 2012 10-11am. at Brown Chapel A.M.E. Church, 1502 Mills Road, Joliet, IL, Rev. Lishers Mahone Jr., Pastor. Service at 11am, Pastor Tim Bailey of Destiny By Design Worship Center, Memphis, TN, officiating. Interment following at Elmhurst Cemetery.
