Albert was born and raised in Denverton, and was baptized at St. Alphonsus. He moved to San Francisco as a young man, living with his brother Frederick, sisters Katherine and Mary, and his mother Johanna. He worked as a fireman in San Francisco at the Main Street station, and also as a machinist. Albert was married to Mary, and they lived in Oakland, San Jose, and San Mateo. Albert was living in Noe Valley when he passed away in 1951.
