Ada Webb Branstetter, 88, was born on May 18, 1924, in Belfry, Mont. She was raised the oldest in a family of eight brothers and sisters. She married Robert Branstetter in 1946. Ada worked at Pierce Packing during the war and continued until Pierce closed. She began a new career in the lunch room at Orchard Elementary School. Later, she managed the Snack Bar at the Yegen Golf Course.

Ada was still bowling on two leagues and dancing at the Moose, Elks and VFW Clubs. She was still involved in Jazzercise and enjoyed gambling.

She is survived by her daughter Connie (Gary) Walters; grandchildren: Sheri (Jake), Clifton and Shawn; her great-grandchildren: Kristina and Stephen; sister Genevieve (Erv) Kuck; brothers: Jim, Elmer, and Dean (Jane) Webb; as well as lots of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Bill; sister Joyce (Jack); parents John and Fanny Webb; and baby brother Andrew.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, at Smith's West Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
