He was united in marriage to Maria Melitona Felan on 04/26/47. He had six children, Paul, Tommy, Janie, Julian, Estevan, Nellie and numerous grandchildren.

His wife joined him in heaven on Thankgiving Day in November 28th, 1991. Preceded in death are his parents Estevan and Manuela Bosquez, grandchildren Theresa Rosemary Bosquez & Paul Bosquez Jr, Daughter-in-law Catarina Bosquez.

My dearest grandpa was a quiet man. I really don't think I remember him ever talking except in spanish and to yell at his dog Cheyenne. He was a precious man. And as a child, I remember my grandma and him taking my sister, brother and I to McDonald's for icecream. He drove an old light blue chevy pickup with a big camper on it.

In 1984, I was only 14 years old. I remember the hospital visit to my grandpa. He was so very cute, a big man, but a heart of gold. He had a stroke and couldn't talk, he became dependent upon my grandma. He stayed at home in his last days. She had to take care of him like he was a child. When your young, those things seem unimportant. But as I got older, I now see my grandmother was a wife, a mother and a beautiful woman. She loved him. She spend 47 years with him thru 6 children, wonderful memories and the struggles of life. I cherish my grandpa & grandma for the memories of my childhood. They are truly precious.

I do remember the phone call that my father received upon the news of his death. I remember him almost going crazy. He kept saying no over and over.

Grandparents fade away as you grow older. But I realized in 1991 when my grandmother died that they are so very important. They have so much advice and so much to share. I truly miss my grandpa, he is remembered for his soft voice and kindness and the beautiful gardens he and grandma planted. I hold in my memory all the family cookouts in the front yard, the easter egg hunts and the funniest memory of the cow head with eyeballs (that was looking at me) in the refrigerator. It truly wasn't funny when I was about 10 years old, but I can't help but laugh now.

Grandparents are so precious, cherish them, call them for they become lonely as they get older. Take them to dinner, mow their yard or just sit and give them a visit. Someday they will be gone and as each year passes, others follow, aunts, uncles, cousins, parents, siblings, brothers, sisters and friends. As I write this, alot of my family is gone. I am sad and lonely. There is too much silence. There are no more big cookouts and loud mexican music, the laughter of my family has faded. They are all leaving one by one. I will someday join them and I will be celebrating in heaven with a big cookout.

When he passed away, he left us all so empty, especially
Grandma Bosquez.

He will forever be missed by all of us.
