JOSEPH DVORAK, RETIRED TAILOR, IS DEAD AT 91
Joseph Dvorak, a retired tailor, died yesterday in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Jeannette E. Martinek, 2401 South Kenilworth avenue, Berwyn. He was born 91 years and 6 months ago to the day in Pisek, Czecho-Slovakia, and came to this country when 21. He was a survivor of the Chicago fire of 1871. Surviving, in addition to Mrs. Martinek, are a son, Edward Dvorak, and four other daughters, Mrs. Marie Rezanka, Mrs. Bessie Hajek, Mrs. Pauline J. White, and Mrs. Anna Kalina. There are 13 grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at the chapel at 6227-29 Cermak road, Berwyn, with interment at Oak Woods cemetery.
