She was born Feb. 7, 1916, in Meadowbrook, daughter of the late Frank and Mary Spino Abruzzino.
She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Watson, the St. Elizabeth Guild, the Monongahela Power Co. Girls Club and the Mon Power Retirees Association. She was a former member of VFW Post 629 in Fairmont. She was a former employee of the Palac e Restaurant and former manager of snack bar for Monongahela Power Co.
She is survived by a son and spouse, John and Karen Christian, of Fairmont; four brothers, John Abruzzino, Danny Abruzzino and Michael Abruzzino, all of Fairmont, and Frank Abruzzino, of Newbury, Ohio; four sisters, Katherine Poster and Rose Julian, both of Fairmont, Virginia Zuspan and Patricia A. Abruzzino, both of Grafton; three grandchildren, Mrs. John (Natalie) Brotosky and Mrs. Thomas (Kellie) Cook, both of Fairmont, and Leisa Christian, of Concord, N.C.; and 17 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony "Lefty" Christian, and seven brothers and sisters.
