Bolyn, Stephen D. Age 48. Suddenly, Thursday April 12, 2012 at his late residence as the apparent result of complications arising from liver failure.


Born in Chicago and a lifelong resident of Shorewood and the Joliet area. A U.S. Army Veteran. A graduate of Joliet Central High School Class of 1981. His greatest loves in life aside from spending time with his family and friends was riding his bicycle and fishing.


Survived by his daughter, Samantha Bolyn; mother, Leva (the late Glen) Clements; five brothers, Danny, James (Brenda), Michael (Sherri), Joseph and Raymond (Laura) Bolyn. Also surviving are several aunts and uncles and many nieces, nephews, cousins. Preceded in death by his wife, Vicky (nee Woods) (1993); his father, William Bolyn; and brother, Christopher.


Funeral Services for Stephen D. Bolyn will be Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at 8 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. As it was Stephen's request cremation rites have be accorded. Private interment Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to the Disabled American Veterans Association in his name would be appreciated.
