Services Thursday
Services for Lush Caldwell Brannon, Elk City Nursing Home, was conducted at 2:30 p.m. from the Savage Funeral Home Chapel, Thursday with Rev. H. P. Elliott officiating.
L. C. Brannon was born in Arkansas, August 19, 1879; he passed away in an Elk City hospital Wednesday September 16, following several months' illness.
He lived near Hammon until 1940 when he moved to Elk City.
He was a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors include his wife, Lula; a son, Billy, Pueblo, Colo.; five daughters, Mattie Villers, Pueblo; Ola McArthur, Denver; Faye Ellett, Colorado City, Texas; Iva Wood, Pueblo, and Vinita Betts, McAlester; and a number of grand children and great grand children.
Burial was in Red Hill cemetery, Hammon.
