Born in Albany, Ga., he was a son of William T. Adams and Mrs. Evelena Blume Adams. He was an Army veteran, an aircraft mechanic and a member of State Street Baptist Church.
Surviving are his father of Oceanside, Calif.; his mother
of Cayce; sisters, Mrs. Jeanie L. Wunders and Misses Ruth E. and Rebecca K. Adams, all of Jacksonville, N.C. and Miss Rachel L. Adams of Vilonia, Ark.; brothers William D. Adams of the Navy at Virginia Beach, Va., Joseph R. Adams of Vilonia and Walter A. Adams of Greenbriar, Ark.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Thompson Funderal Home Chapel of West Columbia, with committal services at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Denmark Cemetery of Denmark.
Memorials may be made to the West Columbia Baptist Fellowship Church building fund.
The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
