Tamara Lynn Johnson was born in 1970 and was a beautiful little girl full of life and tenacity. She died in a terrible auto accident on August 28, 1974 on Jack Tone Road near Stockton. My grandmother paid for her to be put in a mausoleum in Stockton but when my mom went to visit her after recovering from the accident there was no trace of Tammy interred there. It was quite the family mystery when we learned that Tammy's remains location were unknown and my mom was told that Tammy's remains were unrecoverable all because of a mistake made between the funeral home and the cemetery when they put Tammy in permanent storage (a community niche). My mom thought she was lost forever, but growing up I just didn't give up on the idea I would find her one day. As an adult, after tracking down the facts surrounding the cemetery and the funeral home, and with the biggest help from a fellow find-a-graver we were able to find her and demand that they disinter Tammy's remains so we could finally bring her home finally.

"Never forgotten,
Always treasured,
There isn't a large enough scale that could measure,
The love in our hearts,
That remains to this day,
We will see you again Tammy,
For the Bible promises there is a way!"-
