PAYNESVILLE — Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Crystal Hills Assembly of God Church for Evelyn B. Miller, 70, who died Saturday at Paynesville Community Hospital. The Rev. Dennis Curan will officiate. Burial will be in Paynesville Cemetery.

Evelyn Miller was born Dec. 7, 1917, in Paynesville to Charles and Anna (Kruger) Schmidt. She married Ellsworth Miller Oct. 29, 1938, in Paynesville and they lived in Paynesville until 1948, then in St. Cloud until 1965, in Minneapolis until 1972 and then returned to Paynesville. She was emloyed by Hilltop Restaurant near
Paynesville for seven years. She was a member of Crystal Hills Assembly of
Church and Paynesville Rebekah Lodge.

Survivors include son and daughters, James, Hawick; Mrs. Jerome (Marlene)
Gottfried, Palmyra, Wis; Mrs. Keith (Ellen) Crist, Forest Lake; brother, Earl, Paynesville; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband July 20, 1982; an infant
son, Everett; brothers, Chester and Rueben; and sisters, Carol Stern and
Erma Geeslin.
