Mrs. Dorothy Outlaw Simpson, 22 years old, died Saturday at her home in Valdosta, Ga.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the Liberty Hill Baptist church, with the Rev. Wayne Josey and the Rev. Emory F. Young in charge. Burial was in the family plot in the church cemetery.
Surviving are her husband, Thomas J. Simpson; one small son, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Murray Outlaw, of Hartsville, and four sisters and one brother. (--obituary, The Hartsville Messenger, Hartsville, SC, Thursday, 21 April 1949)
