Nathan Christmas was the son of Nathan Christmas, Sr. (b. abt. 1770; d. 2 Mar. 1831) and his wife Celia Ann Baker of Sumter Dist. SC (b. abt. 1780; d. abt. 1856). After her husband Nathan's death, she moved to Houston/Dooly Co., GA area with several of her children and their families. Celia Ann Baker married John McCoy on 16 Feb 1842, in Houston Co., GA.
Nathan married twice. His first wife was Sophronia Ann Norton. They married in 1831, in Worth Co., GA, and had 5 children. His second wife was Mary Ann Catherine Dillard. They married in 16 March 1863, and had 8 children.
