MAHAFFEY - George M. Bell, 79, Bells Landing, Mahaffey R.D. 2, died yesterday afternoon at the Clearfield Hospital.
Mr. Bell was born in Bells Landing June 27, 1892, the son of the late Jerried and Lynn (McCracken) Bell.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Julia) K. Curry, Elwood City, Pa., one granddaughter, Mrs. Lawrence (Janet) Brothers, Mahaffey R.D. 2, and two great-grandchildren.
Survivors also include two sisters, Mrs. Lola Gardner, Mahaffey R.D. 2, and Mrs. Margaret Sunderlin, Grampian R.D., and one brother, Robert, Mahaffey.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Pearl Hadden, his parents, one brother and one sister.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1:30 p.m. from the T. G. McCracken Funeral Home in Mahaffey with the Rev. Donald drake officiating. Interment will be in the Crown Crest Memorial Park.
Friends will be received at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
