Dorothy G. Boettcher, age 77, of 161 S. Glenview Ave., Brillion, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2003, at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay.
She was born Sept. 3, 1926, in the town of Maple Grove, Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Arthur and Emma (Tetzlaff) Caflisch. She married Rueben (Buck) Boettcher on Jan. 4, 1946, in Brillion. She worked at Tecumeseh Products in New Holstein until her retirement in 1991. Dorothy was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Brillion.
Dorothy is survived by her children Glenn (Sue) Boettcher of Brillion, Wayne (Cindy) Boettcher of Appleton, Gail (Tim) Steeber of Brillion, Gwenn (Ken) Weber of Brillion; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two brothers-in-law, Ray Seefeld of Brillion and William Hennessey of Manitowoc. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Rueben on May 17, 1972; two infant grandchildren; three sisters, Audrey Knick, Florence Hennessey, Ruth Seefeld; one brother, Raymond Caflisch; one brother-in-law, Lloyd Knick and one sister-in-law, Ruth Caflisch.
Funeral services will be at Faith United Methodist Church in Brillion with the Rev. Susan Gaul officiating. Burial will be in Brillion Community Cemetery.
