ANSWERS FINAL SUMMONS.
-------------------------------------
David M. Hadley, for forty-seven years a resident of Gage county, and probably the oldest man in this locality, passed away Sunday at a local hospital, aged ninety-four years.
Mr. Hadley was born at Sandusky, Ohio, on June 16, 1830, and located in the Holmesville vicinity, where he engaged in farming. Twenty-three years ago he moved to Beatrice, where he led a retired life. Up to last Thursday he appeared to be enjoying his usual health, when he was taken ill and removed to a hospital, where he gradually failed, until his death. Mr. Hadley was a man who had the esteem and respect of all who knew him, and the news of his death will be received with profound sorrow by his old friends.
He is survived by the following children, his wife having passed away years ago; Mrs. D Vasey of Liberty; James Hadley of Holmesville; Miss Allie Hadley of Beatrice; Mrs. John Vasey of Tucson, Ariz; Ira M. Hadley of Seward; Lewis Hadley of Beatrice; A. A. Hadley of Long Beach, Calif; and H. H. Hadley of Beatrice.
