Glen M. Barnett, of Water Valley, Texas, passed away August 19, 2012 at a local nursing home.
Glen was born in Novice, TX on Jun 3, 1927 to Mary and John Barnett.
Mr. Barnett was in the Navy and served from May 1945 to July of 1947. After his honorable discharge from the navy Glen went on to be a Stock Farmer in Water Valley for 39 years.
Glen Barnett married the love of his life Peggy Bradley in Brownfield, TX on April 26, 1953
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday September 1, 2012 at Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Water Valley Cemetery.
Glen was preceded in death by his parents John and Mary Barnett one brother J.D. Barnett, and one sister- Patsy Grohman.
Glen Marion Barnett is survived by his four children Denise Lynn Copeland and her husband Frank, Kassandra Gayle Minton and her husband Randy, Glen Derek Barnett and his wife Julie, and Bradley Criswell Barnett and his wife Tracy, all of Water Valley Texas. Glen has six grandchildren- Kitna Gayle Foltz and her husband C.J., Wesley Frank Copeland, Nicole Lynn Baker and her husband Andy, Jarrod Scott Minton, Braxton Cole Barnett, and Paige Brooklyn Barnett, all of Water Valley, Texas. He has three Great-Grand Children-Keegan Lynn Foltz, Kynlea Renee Foltz, and Kalysta Gayle Minton, all of Water Valley, Texas. Glen is also survived by this his two Sisters- Sarah Davis and her husband Curtis of Abilene, Texas, Nena Wilson and her husband Jerald of Novice, Texas, and many nieces and nephews.
