"Clifton Park -- Benjamin Fronczek, 67, of Grooms Rd. in Clifton Park, died on Thursday, April 17, 2003, at St. Mary's Hospital in Troy. He was born in Troy on February 9, 1936 and was the son of the late Albert and Antonia Drosky Fronczek. He was educated in the Troy school system. Ben was the owner of Ben's Greenhouse in Clifton Park, having started his business in 1970. His life's passion was growing plants and fishing. He was the beloved husband of Carolyn Ann Merwitz Fronczek, whom he married on January 22, 1955. He was the devoted father of Ricky Fronczek of Clifton Park and Benjamin J. Fronczek of Saratoga Springs; brother of John Dross and Ann Krupski, both of Waterford; grandfather of Hannah, Benjamin and Leah Fronczek; and is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 10:30 from the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 in Clifton Park. Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Interment will be in Jonesville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Saratoga Springs Church of Christ Building Fund, P.O. Box 1450, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866."
