Evelyn was born on July 20, 1924, in Wheeling, WV, to the late Mamie Oral Reed Appell and the late Harry George Appell.
She was a member of New Cumberland Church of Christ in New Cumberland, WV.
She is survived by her husband, Bruce W. Seckman of New Cumberland, WV; her three daughters, Mary Sue Tate and her husband, James A., of Weirton, WV; Linda Lou Willison
and her husband, Robert, of Columbus, OH; and Connie Kay Swords and her husband, John H., of High Point, NC; her son, Brian Bruce Seckman and his wife, Kimberly, of New Cumberland, WV; and her brother, James Appell of Canton, OH; and nine grandchildren, two step grandchildren, and fifteen great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home, n., 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV, on Thursday, May 5, 2005, from 24p.m. and 79p.m. Services will be at the funeral home on Friday, May 6, 2005, at 11:00a.m. with Minister Paul Blake, Jr. officiating.
Burial will be at New Cumberland Cemetery in New Cumberland, WV.
