GARDINER -Mrs. Eva M. Barron, 62, died at Gardoner General Hpsital Tuesday night following a brief illness. She had lived in Gardiner the past 10 years at 158 Bridge Street, cminghere from Augusta. Born at August, Aug. 17, 1891, she was the daughter of Louis and Adelle (Collins) Gagne. She is survived by her husband John R. Barron, Gardiner; a daughter, Mrs. Isaac Smith, Gardiner. Two brothers, William H. Gagne, Augusta, and Thomas Gagne, Winstead Conn.; a sister Mrs. Charles Kent , Surrey, N.H. and eight grandchildren. The body was removed to Staples Funerl home, 53 Brunswick Avenue, Gardiner. Funeral arrangements willbe announced. [Kennebec Journal, June 19, 1953]
GARDINER- Funeral services for Mrs. Eva M. Barron were Thursday morning from Staples Funeral Home, 53 Brunswick Avenue. The Rev. Jospeh Sullian of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, officated. Bearers were William Gagne, Isaac, Thomas and Stanley Smith. Burial was in the family lot in West Street Cemetery where the Rev. Fr. Sullivan said committal prayers. [Kennebec Jurnal, June 19, 1953]
