William Spinelli, or Uncle Wil, as I knew him, always had a flare for style and staying current. A Card Player of note, who could tell just what he and everyone else held in their hands. He enjoyed playing Pool, a little Cutty Sark and life in Atlantic City where he owned and drove a Jitney after his retirement from Westinghouse in Lester, Pa. Always with his ear to the ground for the next business opportunity, Uncle Wil was a professional Mural Painter, a Brick Pointer and a Owner of both a Grocery Store and Connie’s Seafood in Southwest Philadelphia. He passed away of a heart attack at his home one day after several had previously threatened his life. He is missed, to this day, by many.
