Albert Allman, 65, whose home was
at 113 Cedar street, died of a heart
attack while in a theater here Friday
afternoon. He has been troubled with
the heart ailment for about seven years.
He was born on Dec. 31, 1877, in Ohio,
and came here when about four years
old. He married Myrtle Oliver on Nov.
2, 1899. She preceded him in death.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Carl
Pace and Mrs. Wedon Schmidt, both of
Muscatine, and one son, Tech. Sgt.
Walter I. Allman, Camp Polk, La.,
eight grandchildren and 11 great-grand-
children. A sister, Mrs. Mary Whisler
also survives.
The body is at the Meyers Funeral Home
where it will remain pending arrange-
ments for rites.
