Carl Eugene Abbott, 62 of Big Springs passed away on March 4, 2012. Carl was born in Missouri to Lloyd and Hazel Abbott in 1949. Carl lived in Siskiyou County for 24 years. He was a Vietnam Veteran and retired from the United States Marine Corp.
Carl loved hunting and fishing. In his retirement, he enjoyed making something out of nothing. Carl always said that his wife was the best thing that ever happened to him and that she was the love of his life!
Carl is survived by his wife of 23 years, Judy; his brothers, Lester, Gary, and John; his sisters, Agnes, Mary and Wanda, all from Missouri; his children, C.J. of Missouri, Michelle and Mark Creasey of the United Kingdom, Debbie and Tony Hixon of Klamath River, Wendell of Ohio, Richard of Lemoore, Cathy of Hanford and Noa of Big Springs; and his grandchildren, Jamie, Elisa, Brooke, Kenji, Steven, Jareth, Sam, Stephen, Shelby, Gabriel, Richard, Jessica and Amayah. Carl had a very special bond with his great-grandchildren Nakaiya, Koen, Kyhlee and Meekah. He also leaves behind his building buddy, Marie and his brother and sister-in-laws, Chris, Joyce and Joy. Carl's parents and brother Jeffery preceded him in death.
At this time no services are planned for Carl.
