A God loving Christian, he is survived by his wife, Tonya Salazar, children, Richard Elias Alderete Jr. (Dude), Michael García (Bubba), Joseph Moreno, Angelo Padilla and Destiny Padilla, his father, Richard Alderete and his wife, Dolores, his mother, Rita Martínez Walz and her husband, Daniel, grandparents, Vincent and Virginia Alderete and grandmother, Irene Martínez, his sisters, Rachel Alderete Vargas and her husband, Omar and Misty Martínez, his brothers, Ruben Alderete, Brandon Walz and Jordan Walz, nephews, Joseph, Omar Jr. and Michael, nieces, Raeann and Malaya, many cousins, friends and his beloved dog, Rishea.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 6, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at New Beginnings Church, 3601 Montgomery Boulevard NE. Services will follow at 1:00 p.m. Richie will be laid to rest at Pajarito Cemetery on South Coors. Pallbearers will be Howie, Paul, Ernie, Ron, Chris N. and Daniel. Honorary Pallbearers will be Shane, Damacio, Chris A., Candy, Omar and Nick. After the interment, Tonya and her family would like to invite all family and friends to join them to celebrate Richie's life and share memories.
