Nathan Baker, a long-time citizen of this county, but for a few years past a resident of Bunceton, Cooper co, died on Feb 12th at the latter place, of cancer of the hand, aged 73 years. He was born in KY, but moved with his parents to MO when 14 years old, settling in this county, where he resided until 3 years ago, when, on account of failing health, he with his wife and youngest daughter moved to Bunceton and took up their residence with his son-in-law and daughter, Mr and Mrs R D Patrick. The remains were brought here for interment in the old family burying ground, a few miles north of Huntsville. The deceased leaves a wife and five children.

-Huntsville Herald Wednesday, February 19, 1896

Nathan Baker owned a little over a quarter section on the 1876 Atlas in T54 R15 S10 NE 1/4. This is currently (in 2016) on the SW corner of the junction of Hwy C and Rt Z. This was the former site of Trinity Methodist Church, and the associated cemetery is still there. This seems like it must be "the old family burying ground".
