Services for Mrs. E.G. Morris were held at the Methodist Church at Seymour, Texas.

Myrtle Morris moved to Seymour with her family in 1891. She grew to young womanhood in Seymour and attended school at Seymour.

Myrtle Morris married E.G. Morris on 19 August 1909. The couple had one son, E.G. Morris, Jr., who preceded his parents in death. He had been living in South Texas and his parents moved to that part of the state and remained until 1945. At the time they had returned hom and were living in Seymour, Texas.

Survived by her husband; two sisters - Mrs. O.M. Adleta and Mrs. Margaret Hempstead; one brother - Lacy Goostree.

Attending the funeral were the two sisters of Mr. Morris - Mrs. Lee McDaniel and Mrs. Jodie Lankford. Mr. Morris went home with his sister from Amarillo and is going to try living there for a while, if his asthma should not be too bad in that climate.

Mrs. Morris was converted and joined the Methodist Chruch when she was a girl, and had been faithful in the discharge of her Christian obligations She had been ever mindful of the care of her husband who has been in bad health for several years and she will be greatly missed from the walks of life.
